Losing weight is not as easy as gaining weight. Not a lot of people have what it takes to shed off the pounds that they have gained easily. Losing weight entails for the person to exercise regularly, to go to the gym consistently, and worst of all to control the food that they are consuming. Yes, you work out, but then after that, you are quick to give in to your food cravings. However, if you want to stay committed to losing some weight, you have to pay close attention to what food you are putting inside of your body. Here are some of the food that you can eat while you are on a diet in order for you not just to feel full but also to suppress your food cravings.

• Whole eggs: If you want to feel full without eating too much, consider eating eggs. They are not just nutritious and high in protein but also they contain only healthy fats. They are effective in building muscles. Your hunger can easily be satiated by consuming whole eggs while at the same time making sure that your weight does not increase at all. When you consume whole eggs during breakfast, you will no longer be craving for some snacks before lunch. A lot people assume that eggs are rich in calories; however, this is not true. As a matter of fact, whole eggs actually burn more calories and reduce food cravings. While on a diet, it is recommended that you consume a maximum of two whole eggs in one day.

• Apples: Yes, eating an apple a day really keeps your doctor away. Additionally, apples are also capable of keeping fats away from your body. Even if apples have calories, they also come with high content of fiber and water making you feel full and reducing any hunger pangs. Apples are also high in pectin. When pectin is combined with water, your cells will then only be limited to absorbing only a minimum level of fats. Even health care professionals will suggest that you consume apples while you are on a diet. If you eat an apple one hour before meals, you will discover yourself to be cutting down on your food intake.

• Avocado: Avocadoes are very versatile. You can have them at any time and at any meal that you want. You can have them as your salads or have them included as part of your main course. They are rich in essential nutrients and healthy fats. They are also good for your heart, your vision, as well as in reducing your fat levels in the body. Avocadoes are also more than capable of reducing your food cravings. According to research, avocadoes reduce your belly fat thereby reducing your cholesterol levels. This is why avocadoes are the best food to consume when you are on a diet. Consumption of avocadoes should be done at least once per day. And last, do not forget that they are also rich in antioxidants, magnesium, copper, vitamin C, folate, potassium, vitamin and vitamin K.
